Alfredo Lee Fernandez, 60, of Raton, NM, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 7th, 2020, at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, NM
He was born on November 8th, 1959, to Bonifacio and Romalda Fernandez in Raton.
He worked for several years doing construction work of all kinds for many people and established long-lasting professional relationships with everyone.
He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with family, listening to music, and visiting with friends. He also enjoyed woodworking and creating beautiful pieces for his loved ones to enjoy. He loved hard and is truly loved by his family.
Alfredo is survived by his children, Sherin Miller and husband David of Las Vegas, NM, Tana Varela Of Las Vegas, NM, Ciprianita Wilson and husband Joseph Of Maxwell, NM, Chief Petty Officer, Carlos Segura and Wife Dianne of Chesapeake, VA, Linda “Rainbow” Fernandez Of Las Vegas, NM, Christopher Fernandez of Las Vegas, NM, Amber Segura of Raton, NM and Beth Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM. As well as his siblings, Antoinette “Toni” Dabovich and husband Pete of El Paso, TX, Elizabeth Naugle of Raton, NM, Michael Bernal and wife Veronica of Raton, NM, Joseph Bernal and wife Cathy of Raton, NM, Leonard Fernandez of Albuquerque, NM, Christina Fernandez Ortiz of Raton, NM. Along with 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Pacheco, brothers Danny and Lawrence Fernandez, and nephew Joseph Bernal, JR.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 19th at 10:00 am in the Chapel of the Alderette- Pomeroy Funeral Home.
