Jane M. Casias age 96 passed away on June 3, 2020, she was born on April 15, 1924, in Sweetwater, NM. The Daughter of Lucindo and Petrolina Aragon. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Edward Casias, and several brothers and sisters. She was a resident of Cimarron, NM, and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
Jane is survived by her 7 children, Gloria Davis, and husband Carlton of Amarillo TX., MaryAnn Medina and husband George of Albuquerque, NM., Margie Martinez and husband Anthony of Cimarron, NM., Jimmy Casias and wife Shirley of Amarillo, TX., Eddie Casias and wife Robin of Amarillo, TX., Patsy LeDoux and husband Henry of Littleton, CO., Gilbert Casias and wife Beverly of Amarillo, TX., 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The achievement of her lifetime was making a home for her family, instilling education, and faith in all seven of her children resulted in each one of them successfully graduating from High School and receiving many of their Holy Sacraments. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 50, a loving mother, a caring grandmother, and a loyal friend. Jane will be remembered for her incredible strength, amazing work ethic, and deep moral values. She will be missed by many.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Catholic church in Cimarron, NM. Solemn Mass of The Resurrection will follow at 11:00 am with Rev, Benoit Trieu Van Wu as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in Mt, View Cemetery.
