In Loving Memory of Michael A. Sanchez

Michael A. Sanchez 1959 – 2020 Michael A. Sanchez entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Michael was born the proud son of Ezequiel and Lupe Sanchez on March 28, 1959. He was employed by the Colorado Department of Transportation up until his retirement, September 2018. He was currently employed by EL-SOL Labs. Michael was preceded in death by his father Ezequiel Sanchez and Special Aunt, whom he cared for; Clara Sanchez. Left to cherish his memory is his mother Lupe Sanchez, who will turn 100 years old June 8, 2020. His wife, Sherry. His children; Michael Sanchez Jr., Trisha Sanchez, Sara Sanchez (Geoffrey Gonzales), and Jaime Sanchez. Stepson; Chris (Cassandra) Sanchez, His grandchildren; Isaiah, Gabriel, Celeste, Sunshine, Sonny, Don, Luciano, and Domingo. Godson; Tom Sanchez, Jr. Brothers; Tom (Sandy) Sanchez, Steve (Berta) Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, and George (Pat) Sanchez, father and mother in law,  Tony and Helen Griego, Best friends/brothers; Robert (Bob) Aragon and Joe (Lupe) Tafoya. He was also survived by numerous relatives and friends. Michael had the brightest smile and opened up his heart to anyone who needed him. He always settled for less so those he loved were taken care of. Michael cherished the memories he had with time spent with his family and friends. He lived his life to the fullest and no matter where he was he always made friends along the way. His love for his brothers was unconditional. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He cherished his relationship with his Godson, Little Tommy. Michael could always be seen riding around with his dog, Bambi, or taking their walks to his mothers, whom he loved so dearly. Michael, you were so special and will never be forgotten by those who knew you. We love you! Cremation will take place with services to follow at a later date.
