To All Visitors:
While Miners’ Colfax Medical Center continues to work to provide care and treatment for all of our patients, we are also working hard each day to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Out of an abundance of caution and in an effort to contain the continued spread of COVID-19, effective Saturday, April 11, 2020, there will be a new set of visitor restrictions put into place.
Visiting hours will remain the same, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
New Visitor Restrictions
Under the new hospital visitation rules, visitors will only be allowed in the case of end-of-life situations, new birth situations, and special needs. There will be no exceptions to these limitations. If your loved one wants to bring you a personal item, have them drop it off between our visitation hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Visitors will be placed on the visitation list with a telephone number. Once they arrive, they will be required to have their temperature taken, answer a standard set of screening questions and sanitize their hands prior to proceeding into the hospital.
If an individual is not on the visiting list, they will not be allowed to enter the hospital. We also ask that once the visitor arrives, they remain in the patient room. Upon leaving, they will not be allowed to return to the building until the next visiting hours.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these challenging times. Please be assured that our care team is working 24/7 to treat all patients to ensure the safety of our patients, our staffs and our community.
Thank you for your continued support.
