In Loving Memory of Deborah Ann Esquivel

Deborah Ann Esquivel, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Dear Friend, went to be with our Lord on March 25, 2020. Debby was born May 8, 1954 to Robert & Lucille Wilson in Raton, New Mexico. Debby was proceed in death by an infant Brother, Brother Robert (Bobby) Wilson, Parents Robert & Lucille Wilson, Nephew James (Jimmy) Trujillo, Daughter Jennifer Marie Esquivel, Grandson Joshua Esquivel, In Laws Leo Esquivel & Jennie Esquibel & Great Niece Nizshone Trujillo. Debby is survived by her Husband Nash Esquivel Sr., Grandsons Anthony Esquivel, Jayden Romero & Robert Esquivel of the Family Home. Sister Katherine Westerman of New Port Richie, FL. In-Laws, Betty & Pete Green of Amarillo, TX. Donna Flores, Louise Falcon, James Trujillo all of Raton, Leo Esquivel & Rosabel Lucero of Thornton, CO. Sons Nash Jr. & Felix Esquivel of Raton, NM, Brian Smith of San Angelo, TX. Daughter Melissa & Patrick Sisneros & Lisa Ortega of Odessa TX & Stephanie Torres of Raton. Grandchildren Shantell & Adrian Jacobo of Albuquerque, NM, Charity Encinias & Mark Horner, Ruby Sanchez all of Raton, NM. Emily Harrington of Germany, Eric Ortega & Brandon Smith of San Angelo, TX. Ariana Armijo, Ashley & Ava Sisneros of Odessa TX, late Eddie Corona, Angelica & Angelina Stockton of Raton. Great Grandchildren Avianna Horner, Mateo Jacobo, Lorenzo Garcia, Baby Boy Encinias & Baby Girl Jacobo. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Dear Friends Mary Adeline Russell & Sharon Aragon & April Aguirre of Raton. Debby began a Career in the Medical Field as an EMT in 1975. She continued to advance & became a Scrub Technician & Supervisor of Central Sterilization & Supply. She retired from MCMC in 1992. She then went to work for Dr. Mosdale’s Office & later Dr. Guttman’s Office. Debby then went to work for 2001 Video & Rent-to-Own & later All Seasons Restaurant before retiring for good to stay home & enjoy her Husband & Grandsons. Debby lived to nurture anyone in need. She touched countless lives throughout the years. Debby was a straight shooter & told you how she felt, good bad or indifferent. Debby enjoyed gardening yet blossomed in the Fall! The changing colors, crisp, clean air & the beautiful surroundings in Colfax County! Nana Deb loved to cook, bake & ham it up with all the grandkids around the dining room table! Many late & crazy nights playing Yahtzee, board games, cards & ending up on Snapchat & Facebook in some hilarious circumstances against her will! Debby loved hard & fought harder for those she loved. We are comforted knowing that Mama has been reunited, in Heaven, with our Angels & especially her youngest daughter, Jennifer Marie! Services are Pending & under the direction of Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton, NM.
