Margaret Elaine Wilson Swanson, born October 24, 1946, passed away March 21, 2020 at 2:30 P.M. after a long battle with heart disease and cancer. She was a graduate of the 1965 class of Raton High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for her family business, The Wilson Corp.
She is preceded in death by her parent Clarence and Gertrude(Butt) Wilson, and brother Gary Wilson. She is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Carl Swamson, son Eric (Michelle)Swanson of Astoria , Or.
Daughter Kara (Franklin) Inteveld of Raton, N.M., son John (Marina) Swanson of Raton, N.M.,daughter Carol (Mario) of Incitti and sister Kathy (Dennis) Atwater and eight grandchildren.
There will be no services per her request.
