The family of Patrick Robertson asks for your understanding as they postpone this gathering for a later time in consideration of current societal circumstances and the health and safety of everyone. We will reschedule this gathering at a later date where everyone is comfortable sharing their time and space in celebration of Shaun’s life. Until then….
The family and friends of Patrick Shaun Robertson are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life event on Sunday, March 15th at Southern Colorado Repertory Theater located at 131 W Main in Trinidad CO at 2 PM. This is an informal gathering of friends and family; no need to bring flowers or dress up. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SCRT in his honor. Please join Shaun’s family and friends as they remember Shaun’s life with stories and refreshments.
Patrick Shaun Robertson, 57, of Trinidad, CO was born in Biloxi, MS June 4, 1962, and passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2019, in Pueblo, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Barlow; father, Harold Robertson, Jr., and grandparents, Meryl Ray and Myra Eloise Robertson, Sr. He is survived by his children, Kyrie (Gabriel) Wright and Kyla Robertson (Scott Gallimore); grandchildren, Myra and Norman Wright, Eden Morris and Arian Tilley; sister, Kim (Bob) New of Lubbock, TX and close childhood friend Jeff Guyer of Hallsville, MO; extended family Robert and Gail Brown of Des Moines, NM; Beverly and Kevin Eddy of Raton, NM; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Shaun loved the great outdoors and spending his time hiking, fishing, and camping. He was very
involved in theater work and spent much of his time helping out with the soundboard and props at SCRT as well as acting on stage for the productions of “On Golden Pond” and “To Kill a Mockingbird” most recently. Shaun also had a great appreciation for music of all genres and instilled his passion for the arts in his children. He loved the open road on his motorcycle and was an active member of ABATE. Shaun was a very talented man and enjoyed working with electronics, as a computer technician. Shaun attended and graduated from TSJC Cosmetology school. He would give anyone a haircut who needed one and enjoyed having that skill set, but trucking was his passion. He spent most of his career life as a truck driver all over the U.S.
Cremation has taken place with service details pending. It was Shaun’s wish to not have a funeral. His wishes will be honored by having a celebration of his life in the near future. Those details will be announced by the family at a later date with those services being held in Trinidad, CO.
