Raymond Santillanes passed away on February 7, 2020, in Aurora, CO., due to a short battle with cancer. He was born on November 7, 1948 to Raymond & Julia Santillanes. Ray attended area schools and graduated from Trinidad High School in 1966. After graduation, he joined the army and served in Vietnam. He then moved to Aurora and was employed by RKR Corporations, retiring after 20 years. He was currently working for the Cherry Creek School District.
Ray is survived by his wife Sandy of 46 years, daughter Billie Rae Santillanes, son John Santillanes, and grandson Tatum Hickman, mother Julia Santillanes, Siblings, Loretta (Richard) Fresquez, Arlene (Jeff) Reichert, Sara (Glen) Torres, and Anthony Santillanes. Numerous nieces and nephews.
At Ray’s request no services will be held.
