Single Vehicle Fatal Rollover Crash Mora County
Mora County– On January 30, 2020 at about 4:32 p.m., the New Mexico State Police investigated a single vehicle fatal rollover crash on NM Highway 120, near milepost 59, west of Roy, NM.
The Initial investigation indicated a 1987 Jeep, driven by Mary C. Chapman (59) of Roy, NM was traveling on NM Highway 120. For unknown reasons the vehicle left the roadway and rolled. The driver, Chapman sustained fatal injuries in the rollover crash and succumbed to her injuries. She was pronounced deceased on scene by Emergency Medical Personnel.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash and seatbelts appear to have not been properly utilized. No additional information is available.
