Matthew Richard Rodighiero passed away on the evening of 21 December 2019. He was 46.
Matthew was born in Denver on January 2, 1973 and raised here in Trinidad where he lived his entire life. Matthew graduated from Primero High School in 1992.
After High School, Matthew worked as an electrician for Higby Electric. When the gas fields opened he went to work for Western Well Services. He started as a rig hand and advanced to rig operator. He was well known for his knowledge and skill around a drilling rig.
Recently, Matthew was employed at All Right Paving & Ready Mix as a cement truck driver. He was highly respected for his professionalism and excellent driving skills.
Matthew was a great lover of the outdoors, looking for arrowheads or driving on back roads in his Jeep.
Matthew was preceded by death by his Father, Richard Rodighiero, his grandparents Henry and Violet Rodighiero and Larry and Inez Page.
Matthew was married to Becky Holman in 1997 and raised three daughters, Clarissa, Kaytlyn, and Elisabeth. Matthew’s love for the three girls was boundless and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson and granddaughter.
Matthew is survived by his wife Becky Rodighiero, his daughters Clarissa (Nathan) Trumble; Kaytlyn Rodighiero, and Elizabeth Rodighiero; grandchildren Steven and Jewel Trumble; his Mother Deborah Rodighiero and Sister Erika Rodighiero and his Aunt Annette Kancilia and Uncle Henry Rodighiero. He is also survived by his long time companion Laura Galvan and many friends who will miss his great smile, honest laugh and sometimes rather strange sense of humor.
Memorial Services will be held on January 17, 2020 beginning at 10am at Comi Funeral Home, with Bro. Harry officiating.
Inurnment will follow at a later date.
