Tony Edwin Archuleta Sr. age 85, was born January 21, 1934 in Colmor, NM to Ferdinando and Celina Archuleta. Tony passed away on December 2, 2019 in Santa Fe, New Mexico after a short illness.
Tony was a devoted Springer Red Devil fan as well as a San Francisco 49er fan. Tony served 4 years in the Armed Forces and then spent over 60 years as a heavy equipment operator.
Tony is preceded in death by his beloved grandsons Tony Edwin Archuleta III and Allen Samuel Archuleta of Yuma Arizona. Sisters, Theresa Martinez of Amarillo, TX., Lucy Cordova of Tucumcari, NM., and Sofia Archuleta of San Rafael, NM. Brothers, Charlie Archuleta of Des Moines, Iowa and John Henry Archuleta of Miami, NM.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Adelene Lillian Archuleta, his daughter Jaqueline Archuleta of Springer and companion Leroy Fernandez, sons Tony Archuleta Jr. and wife Sandra of Yuma, Arizona and Ronald Archuleta of Springer. Surviving Tony are his grandchildren Edward Archuleta of Espanola, NM., Kassandra Archuleta of Yuma, Arizona, Adelene Urquijo of Espanola, NM. Great Grand Children Hilario of Albuquerque, NM. Allen Samuel Archuleta II of Yuma, Arizona. Great-Great Granddaughters, Adriana and Mariana Urquijo of Springer, NM and his brother John Henry Archuleta of Roswell, NM.
Also, surviving are sisters-in-law Stella Sintas of Raton, NM, Earlene LeDoux of Cimarron, NM., Pauline Raught of Santa Fe, NM., Marion Rodriguez of Raton, NM. Brothers-in-law Dickie Martinez of Phoenix, AZ., as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Recitation Of The Most Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. recited by Earline LeDoux and nephew Ernie LeDoux at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Springer followed by the Solemn Mass Of The Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. with Father Trieu as the Celebrant. Inurnment will be at a later date.
