Nellie Bodine, age 79, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 15, 2019 by Elsie Garcia and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Jason Pettigrew as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Nellie (Maestas) Bodine was born on December 9, 1939 in Mora, New Mexico to Jose Nicanor Maestas and Felipita (Montoya) Maestas. She was a lifelong resident of Clayton, New Mexico and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Victor Bodine, her dad, Jose N. Maestas, step-dad, Frank Archuleta, 2 sisters, Juanita Maestas and Evelyn Maestas and 2 brothers, Alfonso Maestas and Frankie Archuleta.

1 DAUGHTER: Marilyn Leal of Clayton, New Mexico.
MOTHER: Felipita Maestas of Clayton, New Mexico.
5 GRANDCHILDREN: Phillip Madrid and his wife Brenda of Clayton, New Mexico, Jody Leal and his wife Christine of Pecos, New Mexico, Jody Leal of El Paso, Texas and Michael and Katie of Clayton, New Mexico.
7 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Lucretia, J.L., Shania, Tristen, Breanna, Veronica and Diego.
5 SISTERS: Gloria Lucero and her husband Joe and Betty Archuleta and her husband Jimmy all of Clayton, New Mexico, Sadie Castillo of Muleshoe, Texas, Emilia Maestas of Hugoton, Kansas and Vicky Herrera and her husband Chris of Texline, Texas.
3 BROTHERS: Gene Archuleta and Felix Maestas both of Clayton, New Mexico and Johnny Maestas of Los Lunas, New Mexico.
And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
