William V. Archuleta

William V. (Pep) Archuleta, age 64 passed away peacefully at his home in Cimarron, on October 25, 2019. William was born on September 22, 1955 in Raton to Tim and Rebecca Archuleta. He is preceded in death by his parents Tim and Rebecca Archuleta, Daughter Anna M. Archuleta; sisters Judy Rivera, Sadie Medina and brother Jerry Archuleta.
William is survived by his wife Donna Archuleta of the family home in Cimarron, son; Jeff Archuleta of Maxwell, sisters; Mary Louise Montoya of Las Vegas, NM and Mary Ellen Archuleta of Raton, NM., brothers Tom Archuleta and Larry Archuleta both of Cimarron. Also, surviving are two grandchildren.
William V. Archuleta was always known by Pep Archuleta. He worked as a cowboy for local ranches with is fondest memories of working at the CS Ranch. He was well known as an accomplished bull rider 4 team roper. In his twenties he went to work for NM State Forestry and continued with them until he retired.
Recitation Of The Most Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. by Erine LeDoux, at the Sister Hildegarde Parish Hall in Cimarron followed by the Solemn Mass Of The Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. with Father Trieu as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Inurnment will be at the Mt. View Cemetery in Cimarron. Arrangements for William V. “Pep” Archuleta are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
