In Loving Memory of Linda Yvonne Pfalmer

Linda Yvonne Pfalmer, age 66, was taken too soon after a courageous battle with cancer on October 12, 2019, surrounded by her husband and girls.
She was born February 7, 1953 in Trinidad, Colorado to mother Lucille Zuniga.
Linda attended Primero Schools, graduating from Primero High School in 1971.
Linda married the love of her life, Ken, in 1974, and then started what she was most proud of, her family.
She began her career, which became her passion, of being a lifelong educator at Trinidad School District. Linda heavy-heartedly retired after 25 years after her first diagnosis of cancer. She fought and conquered that illness and immediately went back to what she loved, working with students. She then served as a counselor for another 6 years at Goal Academy, until the illness came back with force and her fight began yet again.
The community of Trinidad and all of her students, friends, and family were near and dear to her heart.
Linda enjoyed volunteering with different groups within the community, her Wednesday game nights with her best friends, visiting with anyone and everyone, and most of all spending time with her pride and joys, her grandchildren.
Linda loved her family. Her favorite titles were wife, mother, and most of all, nana. To say she will be missed is an understatement. She will be remembered for her contagious smile. Cancer tried, but failed miserably, to take the beauty that shone through her eyes with every smile.
Preceding her in death are her mother Lucy, stepfather Louie Zuniga, father-in-law Art Pfalmer, mother-in-law Isabel Pfalmer.
She is survived and loved by her soulmate Kenneth Pfalmer, daughters Yvette (Brad) Knox, Jayme (Stacey) Graham, Stacy (Megan) Pfalmer, grandchildren Dylan, Ryan, Benjamin, Kendra, Gracie, Gunnar, Greenley, sister LouAnn (John) Kelleher, brothers Danny (Lydia) Shea, Michael (Shirley) Duran, Marty Coca, David (Dayna) Shea, sister-in-law Micki Crichton, brother-in-law Victor Pfalmer, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
