A regular meeting of the City Commission of the City of Raton will be held on October 8, 2019 at 6 p.m. The meeting will be called to order by Mayor Segotta. The following subjects will be considered by the City Commission and may be considered in any order that is most convenient for the City Commission.
I. Meeting Called To Order – Mayor Segotta
II. Roll Call of the Members of the City Commission and determination of quorum.
III. Pledge of Allegiance to the U. S. Flag.
IV. Recognition of Visitors, Citizen of the Month and/or Presentation of Proclamation, Service Award, Congratulations, Condolences, Holiday Schedules and City/Municipal events
• Next Regular Commission Meeting Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 6pm
• Notice of Potential Quorum: A Quorum of City Commissioners may attend a meeting with NM MainStreet during their annual site visit on October 10, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. at City Hall in the Commission Chambers located at
224 Savage Avenue. This meeting will include a review of progress with strategies and projects, as well as future goals and needs and how NMMS can assist with resource identification, technical assistance and project implementation.
• Notice of Potential Quorum: A Quorum of City Commissioners may attend a court hearing to be held at the 8th Judicial District Courthouse located in Raton on October 24, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. regarding Case No. D-809-cv-2013-00245: Mark Van Buskirk and Lori Van Buskirk vs. the City of Raton
• Proclamation: Business Women’s Week, October 20-26, 2019

B. Deliberate and Act on Event Forms for Raton MainStreet Safe Trick or Treat and the Calvary Baptist Church Hay Ride.
C. Deliberate and Act on Board Appointments for Raton Housing Authority Board and the Labor Management Relations Board.
D. Deliberate and Act on Alpha Design Architectural Services Cost Proposal for Shuler Theater Office Remodel and Convention Center Door Replacement.
E. Deliberate and Act on Resolution 2019-54: Authorizing the Certification of the City of Raton’s 2019 Capital Asset Inventory
F. Deliberate and Act on Resolution 2019-55: Support for Joint Application with Raton MainStreet for Great Blocks Phase III Funding and Commitment of Matching Funds

I, the undersigned authority do hereby certify that the above notice of meeting of the governing body of the City of Raton, New Mexico is a true and correct copy of the said notice and that a said copy of this notice was then posted on the front window of the City Hall of said City in Raton, New Mexico in a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times, and said notice was posted on Friday, October 4, 2019 by 5 p.m. and remained so posted continuously at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting. Said notice was posted in six public places (City Hall, Library, Senior Center, International Bank, FNBNM, Post Office) conveniently placed for the public. Also, KRTN Radio Station and the City of Raton Website will have the agenda posted prior to respective time limits designated for regular and special meetings.
