Seprano Mondragon was born on August 25, 1942 in Des Moines, New Mexico to Eliu and Lorenzo Mondragon who preceded him in death.
Seprano was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A true cowboy, tough as nails. He rode horses, wore wranglers and pearl button down western shirts. Most importantly he loved his family dearly. His smile was always brightest when his wife, children, and grandchildren were together during celebrations; The children running through the house, leaving half drank soda pop and finding all his hidden almond joys and candies. He always told his loved ones. “Never forget your family.” His favorite saying was” A cowboys gotta do, what a cowboys gotta do.”
Seprano is preceded in death by his parents Eliu and Lorenzo Mondragon, Sons: James and Fred. Brother; Miguel and brother-in-law George Maye and loving cousin Louis Fernandez.
Seprano is survived by his wife Josephine Mondragon, his children Joan and spouse Gary, John and spouse Teresa Young Mondragon, Betty and spouse John Ellis, Marie and spouse Will Bullard, Judy Lucio (Rick Lucero). His cousin Theresa Abeyta and sister-in-law Helen V. Maye. Grandchildren: Andrea Fernandez, Kimberly Mondragon, Conchita Curtis Heather Bullard-Manbeck, Tommi Sintas, Patrick Salazar, Katanna Ellis, Angelica Mondragon, Jasmine Young, Fredrick Bullard, Tashawanda Salazar, Shelby Ellis, Frieda Mondragon, Tenna Mondragon, Matthew Ellis and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Monday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St.Patricks/St.Josephs Catholic Church recited by Deacon Thomas Alderette followed by the Solemn Mass of the Resurrection at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patricks/St. Josephs Catholic Church with Father Bill Woytovich as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
