Diane Arguello (Solano) died August 24, 2019 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM with her family by her side.
Diane was born and raised in Raton, NM. She lived sometime in Murfreesboro, TN and recently moved back home to Raton where she resides with her Husband Gilbert Arguello, and fur babies Hannah and Emma. Diane was always happy, loving and giving.
Diane worked at her family store of Solano’s off and on throughout her life. She also worked at Wal-Mart for several years starting in Trinidad, CO. and later transferred to Murfreesboro, TN.
Diane loved to visit and socialize. It was hard to get her out of a store because she would have to talk with everyone. Diane loved her family and her grandchildren. She had a great appreciation for music, and loved to dance. There was never a time she didn’t have music playing. She loved her plants and always had beautiful plants around. She collected cute figurines, which she placed around the house, and we can’t forget her monos. She enjoyed having a garden and had a love for sweet peas. She enjoyed fishing and spending time outside. In her younger years she loved playing softball, and even had her nose broken by a softball. She enjoyed when her grandkids would visit during the summers and they could play with her in the pool. In the winters she couldn’t wait for the holidays, especially Christmas. She loved to have decorations in the house and put up a giant Christmas tree with all the lights, decorations, and ornaments for all the grandkids. She loved for the family to be together during these times and eat some good home cooking, she was an amazing cook. She liked to shop, get her nails and hair done, especially when her granddaughter Leah was around to join in. She liked to do silly things like poke her nose or make faces to make everyone laugh. You could always count on her to make an off the wall comment that made things fun and everyone laugh.
In her free time, she liked electronics, liked to play games, and mess around on her computer, her brat dog Hannah by her side.
She won’t be gone even though she had to leave.
Smell the sea and feel the sky, let your soul and spirit fly into the mystic…
