In October 2018, the Greenwood Tract of the Valle Vidal Hunting Unit, located in New Mexico Department of Game & Fish Hunting GMU-55A, was sold by Vermejo Park Ranch to the Express UU Bar Ranch. The Greenwood Area is now being managed by the Express UU Bar Ranch, LLC.
In the past, the Greenwood had been leased to the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish by the Vermejo Park Ranch for public hunting and fishing. However, the public access lease has ended and will not been renewed. Therefore, public access is no longer allowed for any purpose on the Greenwood Tract.
