It is with great sadness that we announce
Josiah Mendez (Bennett) passed peacefully on July 14, 2019.
Josiah was born on January 5, 1995 and was a lifelong resident of Raton, NM.
He had a passion for poetry and a great love for music.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his silly laugh, humble personality, and warm heart.
Josiah is survived by his sister Robyn Mendez; his grandparents Emilio and Virginia Quintana; his Aunt Donna Vigil; his children Angelina, Alexis, Aallyah; several great Aunts and great Uncles; and many close cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother Jackie Leann Mendez; his Aunt Tina Marie Mendez; His great grandparents Isabel and Leroy Romero; his great grandpa Theodore Mendez; his great Aunt Mary Lou Mendez; and great Uncle Robert Mendez.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11:00 at Family Worship Center (219 Kearney Ave.) in Raton, NM.
Join us in the celebration and memory of our beloved Josiah Mendez.
Josiah, we will cherish your memory always and we will love you for all eternity.
Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
