Walter L. Oldham, age 74 of Raton, NM passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his home. He was born February 28, 1945 in South Gate, CA, the son of Nathan K. Oldham and Juanita L. Beck.
Walter enjoyed the moniker “Bug Doc”. His passion for cars was renown in the local community. He was well know as an invaluable resource for fabrication of rare parts and assistance in unique vehicle restorations.
Walter enjoyed an extensive career as manager of Erie Scientific. He married Kathee Oldham in 2003 and they resided in Raton, NM for many years, where both had many friends, including special friends; Bill Rupert, Tom Pfeiffer, Tony Hines, Al Litchfield, and Neil Emeril.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Betty, and sister Sharon. He is survived by his wife Kathee Oldham, her two sons, Mark and Travis, his two children Pamela Moore, and partner Jeff Ellis of Albuquerque, and Michael Oldham and his wife Kris Oldham of Kansas, his cousin Laurie Sears of Alaska, and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with service to follow at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel in Raton
