In Loving Memory of Emma F. Arrington

Emma F. Arrington, former resident of Trinidad, passed away on June 16, 2019 in Raymondville, TX.
She was born January 19, 1932, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Forrest Barnett and Ruth (Luster) Barnett.
Emma graduated from Stillwater High School and attended Oklahoma State University earning an associates degree in business.
On March 5, 1954 , Emma was united in marriage to James L. Arrington in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
After Jim earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Oklahoma
State University in 1962 , they moved to Raton, New Mexico where he was a doctor at the Raton Veterinary Hospital. They opened the Trinidad Animal Clinic in 1962 and moved to Trinidad in 1984.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her daughter Ruth Hiland. She is survived by her daughter Laura (Jeff) Wasinger of Loveland, Colorado, grandchildren Mitchel James Hiland and Alexandra Faye Hiland, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Davis Moffatt, nieces Dianne Moffatt and Linda Baggett, nephews Edwin Moffatt and Kevin Moffatt and partner of 12 years, Charles Richert.
Funeral Services will be Monday, July 8, 2019 at 10am at the Comi Chapel, with Pastor Cary Nelson officiating.
Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Masonic Cemetery.
