Jonathan Adrian Sanchez, 44 years old, A loving Father was called home on June 14th, 2019 to be with our Heavenly Father in his Kingdom of Heaven. Jonathan was born on March 29th, 1975 in Pueblo Colorado to Robert and Jennie Sanchez. He grew up in Cimarron N.M where he attended and graduated high school, making numerous friends and building lifetime relationships. Jonathan attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico but Cimarron was where his home was.
Jonathan had a talent for art and he could create amazing drawings with ease, but his passion was in music. Jonathan was an incredible drummer and could play several other instruments. He loved to entertain others with his music and humor and had a smile that would brighten a room. Jonathan played with several musical bands, playing all types of music. Along with music and art Jonathan was a talented carpenter and his skills helped provide many families with beautiful homes.
At 26 years old Jonathan’s life changed when he was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Allyssa Jean Sanchez. Six years later he was blessed yet again with another beautiful daughter, Destiny Raquel Sanchez. Jonathan is also survived by his Parents Robert and Jennie Sanchez, Sister Bobbie Jean Gonzales, Brother James Sanchez, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and countless friends. Jonathan had a big heart and cared about everyone he knew.
Jonathan is proceeded in death by his Grand Parents Emilio and Martha Sanchez, Joe and Lucy Fernandez; Uncle Robert Fernandez; Aunt’s Norma Jean Sanchez and Erica Stalling.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held Friday June 28th, 2019, 9:30 a.m. Recited by Patsy Zamora, followed by the Solemn Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cimarron N.M. with Father Trieu as the Celebrant Rite Of Committal And Inurnment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Cimarron N.M. Funeral arrangements for Jonathan Adrian Sanchez are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
