Abiquiu Lake: John Hutson of Carson caught a 4-pound smallmouth bass and several others June 10. He was using a jig and crawdad. 

Bluewater Lake: Aubree Segura, age 8, of Rio Rancho caught and released a 27-inch tiger muskie. She was using a Rapala jerk bait. Ryan Barela of Rio Rancho caught and released a 37-inch tiger muskie June 15. He was fishing from shore and using catfish bait.

Cimarron River Gravel Pit Lakes: Brice Cothlin, age 12, of Amarillo, Texas caught a 20-inch rainbow trout June 15. He was using PowerBait power eggs.

Conchas Lake: Jonathan Johnson of Conchas Dam caught a 25.5-inch, 5-pound, walleye June 12. He was using a bottom bouncer spinner/worm rig.

Elephant Butte Lake: Brody Montoya, age 8, of Magdalena caught a nice white bass June 15. He caught the fish on his first cast with a top water lure. Armando Arreola of Albuquerque caught a 25-inch walleye June 15. He was using night crawlers. Ernesto Gomez, age 12, of Deming caught his first largemouth bass June 15. He was using grilled chicken.

Eagle Nest Lake: Melinda Leyba of Mora caught a 24-inch northern pike June 16. She was using a Kastmaster.

Fenton Lake: Giovanni Herrera of Albuquerque, with a little help from daughter Ariana, caught a 21-inch trout June 15. He was using a Pistol Pete tipped with PowerBait.

Lake Maloya: Canyon Carr, age 13, of Wichita Falls, Texas caught an 18.5-inch rainbow trout June 11. He was using PowerBait. Adrian Valdez of Raton caught a 23-inch rainbow trout June 12. He was using a spoon.

Navajo Lake: Joseph Roybal of Pecos caught a 23.5-inch, 4-pound, brown trout June 16. He was trolling a silver shad deep diving Rapala.

Red River: William Rodden of Silver City caught a 21-inch rainbow trout June 15. He was using green PowerBait.

Roswell Kids Pond: Graydon Adams, age 11, of Roswell caught a 9-pound catfish June 10. He was using chicken liver. Chevy Wyatt, age 11, of Roswell caught a 7-pound catfish. He was using chicken liver.

San Antonio River: Ian Guinn, age 8, of Albuquerque caught his first fish, a rainbow trout, June 15. He was using worms.

Santa Rosa Lake: Alias Vigil, age 14, of Ribera caught a 25-inch catfish June 10. She was using a worm. Michael Brown, age 3.5, of Los Lunas caught a 14-inch smallmouth bass June 16. He was trailing a curly tail grub behind the boat.

Seven Springs Brood Pond: Owen Middagh, age 7, of Albuquerque caught an 18-inch rainbow trout June 9. He was using pink Gulp bait. Ayla Ayala, age 8, of Albuquerque caught a 17-inch rainbow trout June 12. She was using orange PowerBait. Hunter Keelin, age 10, of Albuquerque caught his personal best trout, an 18-inch, 3-pound rainbow June 14. He was using garlic PowerBait. Davis Aragon, age 10, and Elora Aragon, age 7, of Rio Rancho kept two of approximately 10 rainbows caught June 15. They were using flies and salmon eggs. Hazel Dyer, age 8, of Albuquerque caught a big rainbow trout that broke her rod, but still managed to land it. She was using PowerBait.

Ute Lake: Wade McPherson of Hereford, Texas caught and released a 4.76-pound largemouth bass June 16.

Seven Springs Brood Pond: Addison Seager, age 7, of Harker Heights, Texas caught a 19.5-inch rainbow trout June 8. She was using green PowerBait.

Whitewater Creek: Colby Priest, age 13, of La Mesa caught a 14-inch Gila trout June 8. He was using orange PowerBait.

Charette Lakes: Trout fishing was slow to fair for anglers using PowerBait.

Cimarron River: Stream flow near Cimarron on Monday morning was 46.8 cfs. Fishing was good using San Juan worms, spinners and worms for trout. Fishing at the Gravel Pit Lakes was good using PowerBait, worms and Pistol Petes for trout.

Clayton Lake: Fishing was very good using nightcrawlers and PowerBait for trout. A few largemouth bass were caught by anglers using nightcrawlers and crank baits. We had no reports on other species.

Conchas Lake: Fishing was very good using worms for bluegill. Fishing was good using top water lures, swim baits, jerk baits, senkos, jigs, tubes and creature baits for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was good using crank baits, jerk baits, sassy shad and top water lures for white bass. Fishing was good using bottom bouncer spinner/worm rigs and minnow rigs for walleye. Fishing was slow to fair using cut bait, worms and liver for catfish. The surface water temp was in the low to mid 70s.

Costilla Creek: Stream flow near Costilla on Monday was 110 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Cowles Ponds: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Coyote Creek: Fishing was very good using salmon eggs and worms for trout. A few trout were also caught by anglers using elk hair caddis.

Eagle Nest Lake: Fishing was fair using leeches and chironomids on a sinking tip line, spinners, Kastmasters and PowerBait for rainbow trout. Fishing was good using leech patterns and worms for perch. Fishing was fair using streamers, Kastmasters and spinners for northern pike. We had no reports on kokanee.

Eagle Rock Lake: Fishing was good using Pistol Petes, spinners, worms, PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout.

Fawn Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Gallinas River: Fishing was good using worms and Fire Balls for trout.

Hopewell Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait, worms, Fire Balls, wooly buggers and Pistol Petes for rainbow and brook trout.

Lake Alice: Fishing was slow to fair using PowerBait and Pistol Petes for trout.

Lake Maloya: Fishing was very good using Pistol Petes, spoons, spinners and PowerBait for trout up to 5 pounds.

Los Pinos River: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Maxwell Lake 13: Fishing was slow for all species.

Monastery Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait for trout.

Morphy Lake: Closed for a renovation project on the dam and no firm opening date has been set.

Pecos River: Stream flow near the town of Pecos on Monday morning was 412 cfs. Fishing was fair to good using worms, salmon eggs, wooly buggers and bead head hares ears for a mixed bag of brown and rainbow trout.

Red River: Stream flow below the hatchery on Monday morning was 236 cfs. Fishing was fair using worms, PowerBait and weighted nymphs for trout.

Rio Grande: Stream flow at the Taos Junction Bridge was 4,700 cfs. Fishing was slow for all species.

Rio Hondo: Stream flow on Monday morning was 149 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Rio Mora: Stream flow on Monday morning was 102 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Rio Pueblo: Stream flow on Monday morning near Penasco was 153 cfs. Fishing was good using worms for trout.

Santa Cruz Reservoir: Fishing was good using Fisher Chick spinners, spoons, Pistol Petes under a bubble, PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout.

Shuree Ponds: Closed for the season.

Springer Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Storrie Lake: Fishing was fair using PowerBait and spinners for trout. We had no reports on other species.

Stubblefield Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Ute Lake: Fishing was very good using worms for big bluegill. Fishing was good using chatter baits, tubes, jigs, senkos and grubs in shallow water for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass. Fishing was good using top water lures and trolling crank baits for white bass. Fishing was fair using jigs, grubs and minnows in the trees for walleye. Fishing for catfish was slow. The surface water temp was in the low 70s.

Abiquiu Lake: Fishing was fair using minnows and grubs for crappie. Fishing was fair using bottom bouncer nightcrawler rigs, crank baits and minnows for walleye. Fishing was fair to good using worms, tubes and crank baits for smallmouth bass. We had no reports on other species. Anglers are advised to use four-wheel drive vehicles to launch boats.

Animas River: Water flow below Aztec on Monday morning was 4,690 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Albuquerque Area Drains: Fishing was slow with just a few trout caught by anglers fishing the Bernalillo, Corrales and Albuquerque Drains. They were using PowerBait, worms and small spoons.

Bluewater Lake: Fishing was fair using crank baits, jerk baits, swim baits and large streamers for tiger muskie. A few trout and catfish were caught by anglers using PowerBait and hotdogs.

Brazos River: Fishing was good using small bead head nymphs and worms for trout.

Canjilon Lakes: Fishing was fair to good using spinners and PowerBait for trout. Joe Valdez of Espanola reported catching a 19.5-inch rainbow this past weekend. He was using a silver Kastmaster. He also lost a big fish on a red and white Mepps spinner. Megan Padilla of Albuquerque made her first trip here June 14 and caught an 18-inch rainbow. She was using an olive Pistol Pete.

Chama River: Monday morning flows below El Vado and Abiquiu were 1,250 cfs and 1,790 cfs respectively. Fishing below El Vado was fair using night crawlers, streamers, wooly buggers, PowerBait, Kastmasters and Rapalas for brown and rainbow trout. We had no reports from below Abiquiu.

Cochiti Lake: Fishing was slow, but anglers using minnows, jigs, crank baits and spinner baits caught a few largemouth bass and white bass. Fishing was slow to fair using beef liver, homemade dough baits, worms and cut bait for catfish. We had no reports on other species.

El Vado Lake: Fishing was good using tubes, jigs and spinners for bass. We had no reports on other species.

Fenton Lake: Fishing was very good using spoons, Pistol Petes, nightcrawlers, PowerBait and a variety of flies for trout.

Heron Lake: Fishing was slow for all species with just a few carp and rainbow trout caught by anglers using worms and PowerBait.

Jackson Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Jemez Waters: Stream flow on the Jemez near the town of Jemez on Monday morning was 58 cfs. Fishing on the East Fork, upper Jemez and San Antonio was very good using hoppers with copper John Barr droppers, small green nymphs, worms and stimulators for brown and rainbow trout. We had no reports on the other streams.

Laguna del Campo: Fishing was very good using spoons, Pistol Petes, PowerBait and worms for trout.

Lagunitas Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Lake Farmington: Fishing was slow with just a few trout caught by anglers using PowerBait.

Manzano Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

McGaffey Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Navajo Lake: Fishing was fair using minnows and crappie bites for crappie. Fishing was slow to fair using senkos, top water lures, baby brush hogs, crank baits, curly tail grubs and jigs for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was slow to fair using crank baits, buzz baits and swim baits for northern pike. A few rainbow and brown trout were caught by anglers trolling crank baits. Fishing for kokanee was slow. We had no reports on other species.

San Gregorio Lake: Fishing was slow. One angler reported that the only fish located were fry.

San Juan River: Stream flow on Monday morning was 488 cfs. Trout fishing during the flow ramp down through the quality waters was fair using egg patterns, red and orange larva, San Juan worms, chamois leeches and small streamers. Fishing the bait waters was fair to good using night crawlers, small spoons and Gulp eggs.

Seven Springs Brood Pond: Fishing was very good using PowerBait, salmon eggs, a wide assortment of small flies and Pistol Petes for trout.

Tingley Beach: Fishing at the Central and Youth ponds was fair using worms for bluegill. Fishing was slow to fair using hot dogs and homemade dough bait for catfish. We had no other reports.

Trout Lakes: Fishing was slow with just a couple of trout caught by anglers using PowerBait.

Alumni Pond: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Bear Canyon Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Bill Evans Lake: Fishing was slow for all species.

Caballo Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using minnows for crappie. Fishing was slow to fair crank baits, grubs and sassy shad for white bass and walleye. Fishing was fair using liver and worms for catfish and an occasional carp. The best reports came from anglers fishing near the dam and at the north end of the lake.

Elephant Butte Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using top water lures, minnows, crank baits and tubes for white bass. Fishing was slow to fair using chatter baits, crank baits, creature baits, jigs, top water lures, senkos and jerk baits for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass. Fishing for walleye and crappie was slow but a few were caught by anglers using crank baits, minnows and night crawlers. Fishing was fair to good using worms for bluegill. Fishing was fair to good using cut bait, worms and chicken liver for catfish.

Escondida Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Gila River: Stream flow on Monday morning was 23.5 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Glenwood Pond: Fishing was good using PowerBait for trout.

Lake Roberts: Fishing was fair using spinners, Pistol Petes, worms and PowerBait for rainbow and Gila trout. We had no other reports.

Percha Dam: Fishing was good using nightcrawlers, minnows and grubs for walleye and white bass. We had no reports on other species.

Quemado Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait, Kastmasters, spinners and Pistol Petes for trout. Kyla Yazzie reported good fishing using spoons and minnow shaped lures and fair using sherbet, garlic and nymph grape PowerBait for trout in the 12 to 18-inch range. David Thompson reported good fishing for him, Will Leekity and Jacob Luther over the past weekend. They caught several trout using spinners and pink PowerBait.

Rancho Grande Ponds: Fishing was good using PowerBait for trout.

Rio Grande: Stream flow below Elephant Butte Monday morning was 2,440 cfs. Fishing below Elephant Butte was good using curly tail grubs, sassy shad and minnows for white bass and walleye. Fishing was good using night crawlers, hotdogs and liver for catfish. We had no reports on other species.

Snow Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week. 

Young Pond: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Alto Lake: Fishing was fair using PowerBait and worms for trout. Fishing was slow to fair using hot dogs, liver and worms for catfish. Joshua Abeyta of Las Cruces caught and released a 16-inch largemouth bass June 16. He was using a 6-inch purple glitter senko on a drop shot rig.

Bataan Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Berrendo Creek: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Black River: Stream flow at Malaga on Monday morning was 33.3 cfs. Fishing was fair to good using liver for catfish. We had no reports on other species.

Blue Hole Park Pond: Fishing was good using PowerBait, Pistol Petes and salmon eggs for trout.

Bonito Lake: Closed until further notice by the city of Alamogordo due to fire damage. It appears now that the lake will be out of commission until the spring of 2020.

Bosque Redondo Lake: Fishing was slow, but a few catfish and trout were caught by anglers using chicken liver, PowerBait and spoons. We had no reports on other species.

Bottomless Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Brantley Lake: Fishing was fair using top water lures, crank baits and jigs for white bass and largemouth bass.

Carlsbad Municipal Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Chaparral Park Lake: Fishing was fair using chicken liver, worms and hot dogs for catfish.

Corona Pond: Fishing was slow for all species.

Eunice Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Green Meadow Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using hotdogs and chicken liver for catfish.

Greene Acres Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Grindstone Reservoir: Fishing was good using PowerBait and worms for trout. Fishing was good using worms for bluegill. We had no reports on other species.

Jal Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Lake Van: Fishing was fair to good using nightcrawlers, homemade dough bait, punch bait and liver for catfish.

Oasis Park Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Pecos River: Stream flow below Sumner Lake on Monday morning was 101 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Perch Lake: Fishing was fair using PowerBait and worms for rainbow trout. Fishing was slow to fair using worms, homemade dough bait and hotdogs for catfish.

Ruidoso River: Stream flow on Monday morning at Hollywood was 6.68 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.

Santa Rosa Lake: Fishing was fair using crank baits, senkos, top water lures, crawdads, jigs, grubs and creature baits for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was fair using minnows, curly tail grubs, bottom bouncer/worm rigs and crank baits for walleye. Anglers using minnows also caught a few crappie. Fishing was fair to good using worms and liver for catfish.

Sumner Lake: Fishing was good using crank baits, jerk baits, top water lures, tubes, senkos and crawdads for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was fair to good using liver and nightcrawlers for catfish. Fishing was fair using crank baits and minnows for white bass and walleye.
