Alumni Pond: Brody Ochoa, age 11 of Las Cruces caught a 13-pound carp May 27. He was using hotdogs.
Bosque Redondo: Jason Luis Archuleta, age 5, of Clovis caught a 20-inch catfish May 30. He was using a grub.
Chama River: John Boylan of Santa Fe caught and released a 21-inch brown trout May 31. He was using a white streamer. John Merzwa of Albuquerque caught and released a 21-inch brown trout June 1. He was using nightcrawlers.
Clayton Lake: Mateo Balizan, age 2, of Eagle Nest caught an 18-inch rainbow trout June 1. He was using PowerBait.
Conchas Lake: Sam Schrider, age 11, of Albuquerque caught a 13-inch bluegill May 27. He was using night crawlers. Isaiah Lujan, age 16, of Santa Fe caught and released a 19-inch, 6-pound largemouth bass and several others May 27. He was using a grub.
Eagle Nest Lake: Pablo Herrera of Dona Ana caught a 37-inch northern pike May 29. He was using a Kastmaster.
Elephant Butte Lake: Mia Jean Chacon, age 3, of Las Cruces caught her first fish, a 13-inch white bass, May 26. She was fishing the north end of the lake and using worms on her Princess fishing combo.
Escondida Lake: Mariah Devlin, age 9, of Los Lunas caught two 25-inch catfish May 27. She was using hotdogs.
Fenton Lake: Colton Giron, age 9, of Albuquerque caught a 17-inch rainbow trout May 28. He was trolling a silver and red spoon. Jayden Traganos, age 10, of Peralta caught a 9-inch rainbow trout May 27. He was using a nightcrawler. Carlos Chavez, age 9, of Grants caught a 16-inch rainbow trout May 27. He was using garlic scented PowerBait. Maliya Etsate, age 9, of Zuni caught a 17.5-inch rainbow trout May 29. She was using PowerBait. Jerry Olivas of Los Lunas caught a 20-inch rainbow and an 18-inch rainbow May 29. He and grandson, Jacob Acuna of Rio Rancho caught limits of trout using yellow and green PowerBait.
Greene Acres Lake: Evan Shield of Clovis caught a 9.5-pound catfish May 29. He was using stink bait.
Grindstone Reservoir: Felicia Padilla of Las Cruces caught a rainbow trout estimated to be between 21 and 24 inches May 27. She was using PowerBait.
Laguna del Campo: Riley Trujillo, age 5, of Albuquerque caught her first fish ever, a 10-inch rainbow trout May 27. She was using PowerBait. Carla Pacheco, age 15, Seve Pacheco, age 14, and Samuel Pacheco, age 9 of Santa Cruz caught several nice rainbows, including one 20-inch trout caught by Carla June 1. They were using Pistol Petes and Apex lures.
Lake Roberts: Maya, age 5, Austyn, age 7, Salena, age 15, and Diontaye Riley, age 13, of Laguna Pueblo caught limits of Gila and rainbow trout June 1. They were using PowerBait, garlic and cheese.
Lake Van: Kendra Rogers of Dexter caught a 24.5-inch, 5-pound catfish May 26. She was using shrimp.
Liam Knight Pond: Nadia Griffin, age 15 of Albuquerque caught a 4-pound and a 5-pound catfish June 1. She was using chicken liver.
Pecos River: Alfred Lujan of Santa Fe caught a 26-inch rainbow trout May 31. He was fishing north of Terrero and using salmon eggs.
Roswell Kids Pond: Mikey Sanchez, age 6, of Roswell caught a 4-pound, 15-ounce catfish June 1. He was using hot dogs.
Santa Cruz Reservoir: Athena Pilgrim, age 4, of Santa Fe caught her first fish, a 16.5-inch rainbow trout May 29. She was using a worm and a float.
Santa Fe River: Adam Gutierrez, age 3, caught a limit of trout June 1. This was his first five fish ever and he was using salmon eggs.
Storrie Lake: Anthony J. Sandoval Jr. of Las Vegas caught a 32-inch, 14-pound catfish June 3. He was using cut bait.
Tingley Beach: Brayden Giron, age 11, of Albuquerque caught a 13-inch largemouth bass May 26, He was using a brown tube. Michael Certo of Albuquerque caught two catfish measuring 30 and 32 inches and 10 pounds each May 28. He was using sausage. Mateo Sanchez, age 8 of Albuquerque caught a 30-inch catfish June 1. He was using hotdogs.
Ute Lake: Mike Liska of Espanola caught and released a 4.04-pound smallmouth bass June 1. He was using a ned rig.

Conchas Lake: Manuelita Loveless of Tijeras caught a 4-pound largemouth bass and several smallmouth bass and white bass. She was trolling crank baits.
Red River: Alexia Moquino, age 7, of Kewa caught a 19.5-inch rainbow trout May 25. She was using green, garlic PowerBait.
Rio Pueblo: Joseph Pacheco, age 10, of Moriarty and Landon Chavez, age 6, of Albuquerque caught several rainbow trout May 26. They were using worms.
Seven Springs Brood Pond: Donovan Dominguez, age 6, of Albuquerque caught a 14-inch rainbow trout May 25. He was using salmon eggs.

Northeast Fishing Report
Cabresto Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Charette Lakes: Fishing was fair to good using PowerBait for trout.
Cimarron River: Stream flow near Cimarron on Monday morning was 49.2 cfs. Fishing was good using red San Juan worms, small copper John Barrs, small pheasant tail nymphs and Panther Martin spinners for trout. Fishing at the Gravel Pit Lakes was good using PowerBait and Pistol Petes for trout.
Clayton Lake: Trout fishing slowed a bit over the past weekend but was good during the week. Anglers did very well catching 14 to 18- inch fish. Most were caught with PowerBait. Fishing was fair using swim baits, tubes and PowerBait for largemouth bass and small walleye. We had no reports on other species. The 19th Annual Fishing Derby will be held June 8 and 9. Conchas Lake: Fishing was good using crank baits, chatter baits, jerk baits, Ned rigs, tubes, senkos, jigs and creature baits for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was fair using minnows, small jigs and curly tail grubs for crappie. Fishing was fair to good using crank baits, sassy shad and minnows for white bass. Fishing was fair trolling minnow and worm rigs and crank baits for walleye. Fishing was good using cut bait, homemade dough bait and liver for catfish. The surface water temp ranged from the mid to high 60s.
Costilla Creek: Stream flow near Costilla on Monday was 110 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Cowles Ponds: Fishing was good using PowerBait, Fire Balls, worms and small gold spinners for trout.
Coyote Creek: Fishing was good using worms, Fire Balls and small bead head nymphs for trout.
Eagle Nest Lake: Fishing was very good using spinners, Kastmasters, Platte River specials and PowerBait for rainbow trout. Fishing was good using spoons, PowerBait, large streamers and spinners for northern pike. Fishing for kokanee and perch was slow.
Eagle Rock Lake: Fishing was good using Fisher Chick spinners, bead head nymphs, worms, PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout.
Fawn Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Gallinas River: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Hopewell Lake: Fishing was good using PowerBait, worms and Pistol Petes for trout.
Lake Alice: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Lake Maloya: Fishing was very good using assorted PowerBait and gold spoons for trout including a 24-inch brown caught on a gold spoon.
Los Pinos River: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Maxwell Lake 13: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Monastery Lake: Fishing was very good using PowerBait, Power Eggs and worms for trout.
Morphy Lake: Closed for a renovation project on the dam and no firm opening date has been set.
Pecos River: Stream flow near the town of Pecos on Monday morning was 613 cfs. Fishing was fair to good using worms, salmon eggs, wooly buggers, bead head prince nymphs and bead head hares ears for a mixed bag of brown and rainbow trout.
Red River: Stream flow below the hatchery on Monday morning was 184 cfs. Fishing was fair to good using worms, PowerBait and small spoons for trout. Fishing at the hatchery pond was good using PowerBait.
Rio Grande: Stream flow at the Taos Junction Bridge was 2,090 cfs. Fishing was slow for all species. There were a few catfish caught by anglers fishing in the Albuquerque area and using chicken liver.
Rio Hondo: Stream flow on Monday morning was 153 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Rio Mora: Stream flow on Monday morning was 191 cfs. Fishing was slow to fair using worms for trout.
Rio Pueblo: Stream flow on Monday morning near Penasco was 165 cfs. Fishing was good using worms for trout.
Santa Cruz Reservoir: Fishing was good using Kastmasters, small Daredevles, Fisher Chick spinners, Panther Martins, scented PowerBait and Fire Balls for trout.
Shuree Ponds: Closed for the season.
Springer Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Storrie Lake: Fishing was good using salmon peach PowerBait for trout. Fishing was fair to good using hot dogs, worms and stink bait for catfish.
Stubblefield Lake: Fishing was fair to good using swim baits, crank baits and curly tail grubs for a mixed bag of walleye and largemouth bass. Ute Lake: Fishing was very good using swim baits, tubes, ned rigs, crawdads, senkos and small plastic worms for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Most of the bass were caught in less than 12 feet of water. Fishing was good trolling crank baits for white bass. Fishing for walleye was sporadic as they were scattered at depths from 10 to 45 feet. Anglers having the best luck were using jig and minnow rigs and bottom bouncer nightcrawler rigs deep and trolling crank baits. Fishing was slow to fair using minnows for crappie. Fishing was fair using hot dogs, liver, night crawlers and dip bait for catfish in shallow water. The surface temp was in the mid 60s.
Northwest Fishing Report
Abiquiu Lake: Fishing was fair using jigs, tubes and swim baits for smallmouth bass. Fishing was fair using crank baits, bottom bouncer nightcrawler rigs and curly tail grubs for walleye. We had no reports on other species.
Animas River: Water flow below Aztec on Monday morning was 2,820 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Albuquerque Area Drains: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Bluewater Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using PowerBait and worms for trout. Fishing was fair using swim baits, deep running crank baits and hotdogs for tiger muskie.
Brazos River: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Canjilon Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Chama River: Monday morning flows below El Vado and Abiquiu were 1,300 cfs and 1,780 cfs respectively. Fishing below El Vado was good using night crawlers, PowerBait, Fire Balls and streamers for brown and rainbow trout. We had no reports from below Abiquiu.
Cochiti Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using minnows, swim baits, Rat L Traps and spinner baits for northern pike, largemouth bass and white bass. Fishing was slow to fair using beef liver, homemade dough baits and cut bait for catfish. We had no reports on other species.
El Vado Lake: Fishing was fair using tubes, worms and grubs for perch and a few largemouth bass. The lake level was rising, and the water was quite murky.
Fenton Lake: Fishing was very good using wooly buggers, Fisher Chick red and yellow spoons, Fisher Chick spinners, Pistol Petes, Kastmasters, nightcrawlers and PowerBait for trout.
Heron Lake: Fishing from the bank in the La Laja and Ridge Rock areas was fair to good using PowerBait, marshmallows, Fire Balls and worms for rainbow trout. One angler reported catching a small lake trout while using PowerBait. Fishing off the northeast side of the island was fair using Panther Martins tipped with corn for kokanee. The kokanee were at a depth of 40 feet.
Jackson Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Jemez Waters: Stream flow on the Jemez near the town of Jemez on Monday morning was 207 cfs and fishing was slow with just a few trout caught by anglers using worms. Fishing on the Cebolla, East Fork and San Antonio was good using hoppers, egg patterns, flash back pheasant tails, bead head hares ears, copper John Barrs and worms for trout.
Laguna del Campo: Fishing was very good using Apex lures, Pistol Petes, PowerBait and worms for trout.
Lagunitas Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Lake Farmington: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Manzano Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
McGaffey Lake: Fishing was fair using night crawlers and liver for catfish. We had no reports on other species.
Navajo Lake: Fishing was fair using minnows and small tubes for crappie. Fishing was fair to good using swim baits, brush hogs, senkos, stick baits, crank baits, spinner baits, curly tail grubs and jigs for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was fair using crank baits, jerk baits, spinner baits and swim baits for northern pike. Fishing was slow to fair trolling crank baits and spinners for trout. A few trout were also caught by anglers fishing from the bank and using spinners and PowerBait. We had no reports on other species.
San Gregorio Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
San Juan River: Stream flow on Monday morning was at 408 cfs and scheduled to ramp up over the next 5 to 7 days to 5,000 cfs. The release is scheduled to remain at 5,000 cfs for a minimum of 5 days. An additional day or more may be added if conditions allow. The ramp down will occur over 3 days, reaching 500 cfs where it is scheduled to remain until further notice. Fishing through the Quality Water section picked up this past week as waters cleared and sight fishing became a bit easier. Recommend waiting until flows settle down to get back on the river in your waders. Try a little shoreline casting from dry land.
Seven Springs Brood Pond: Fishing was very good using worms, salmon eggs, PowerBait, leech patterns and spinners for trout.
Tingley Beach: Fishing at the Central and Youth ponds was good using hot dogs, homemade dough bait, nightcrawlers and liver for catfish. We had no other reports.
Trout Lakes: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Southwest Fishing Report
Alumni Pond: Fishing was fair to good using hot dogs and worms for catfish. We had no reports on other species.
Bear Canyon Lake: Fishing was good using crappie jigs, minnows, dry flies and nymphs for crappie. Fishing for catfish was slow but a few were caught by anglers using worms. We had no reports on other species.
Bill Evans Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using creature baits and spinner baits for largemouth bass. We had no reports on other species.
Caballo Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using curly tail grubs, minnows and crank baits for a mix of walleye and crappie. Fishing was slow to fair using jig and craw combos, senkos, minnows, crank baits and tubes for largemouth bass. Fishing was fair to good using liver, homemade dough bait, night crawlers and cut bait for catfish.
Elephant Butte Lake: Fishing was good using minnows, sassy shad, crank baits, curly tail grubs, and tubes for white bass. Fishing was fair to good using chatter baits, crank baits, tubes, senkos, creature baits and crawdads for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass. Fishing was good using cut bait, chicken liver, homemade dough bait, night crawlers and hot dogs for catfish.
Escondida Lake: Fishing was very good using hot dogs, chicken liver, nightcrawlers and homemade dough bait for catfish.
Gila River: Stream flow on Monday morning was 45.5 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Glenwood Pond: HOT SPOT FOR TROUT: Fishing was excellent using garlic PowerBait for trout. At the Glenwood Catwalk, fishing was very good using elk hair caddis, wooly buggers, PowerBait and silver spinners for Gila and rainbow trout.
Lake Roberts: Fishing was very good using Kastmasters, Panther Martins, Mepps, PowerBait and worms for rainbow and Gila trout. We had no reports on other species. Keith Rogers and his son, Cole of Silver City caught ten Gila trout ranging in size from 16 to 18 inches June 1. They were using Kastmasters and spinners.
Percha Dam: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Quemado Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Rancho Grande Ponds: Fishing was very good using PowerBait for trout. Fishing was very good using hot dogs, cheese bait and worms for catfish.
Rio Grande: Stream flow below Elephant Butte Monday morning was 2,160 cfs. Fishing below Elephant Butte was fair to good using 3-inch grubs and sassy shad for white bass and walleye. Fishing was good using hot dogs, night crawlers and liver for catfish. We had no other reports.
Snow Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Young Pond: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Southeast Fishing Report
Alto Lake: Fishing was very good using PowerBait, worms and Pistol Petes for trout. Aaron Stickney reported great trout fishing this past Sunday. He caught a limit of trout in an hour using green PowerBait on a Carolina rig. He was fishing the eastern end of the lake on the south bank. Fishing was fair to good using hot dogs and worms for catfish.
Bataan Lake: Fishing was good using hot dogs, stink bait, liver and night crawlers for catfish. We had no reports on other species.
Berrendo Creek: We had no reports from anglers this week.
Black River: Stream flow at Malaga on Monday morning was 11.8 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Blue Hole Park Pond: Fishing was slow to fair using PowerBait for trout. Fishing was good using nightcrawlers and hot dogs for catfish.
Bonito Lake: Closed until further notice by the city of Alamogordo due to fire damage. It appears now that the lake will be out of commission until the spring of 2020.

Jal Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using hot dogs and worms for catfish.

Santa Rosa Lake: Fishing was fair to good using crank baits, senkos, tubes, grubs, crawdads, jigs and creature baits for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was slow to fair using minnows and crank baits for walleye. We had no reports on other species.
Sumner Lake: Fishing was fair to good using liver, punch bait and homemade dough bait for catfish. Fishing was fair using crank baits, spinner baits, senkos and creature baits for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass. Fishing was fair using crank baits, sassy shad and jig and minnow combinations for walleye.
