Jeremy Keith Gentry, age 22, of Raton passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 in Raton. He was born August 17, 1996 in Rome, GA, the son of Randy K. Gentry and Shari K. Bell (Van Dyne). He was a night clerk at the Loaf and Jug in Raton. He had a true passion for the cyber world as well as fiction stories and games of all types. Jeremy’s humor was infectious, his kindness and compassion were endless. We are all so blessed to have shared the world with this wonderful man.
He is preceded in death by his father, Randy Gentry, and uncle Geno Van Dyne. Jeremy is survived by his mother Shari Bell of Pueblo, CO., sisters Tara Bell of Rome, GA, Toni Bell of Pueblo, CO and Cortney Gentry of Cartersville, GA. Two brothers, Justin Bell of Dallas, GA, and Caleb Gentry of Cartersville, GA. Paternal grandfather, Pete Gentry of Taylorsville, GA. Maternal grandfather Vernon Van Dyne of Canon City, CO, maternal grandmother Kay Edwards of San Angelo, TX., aunt Kara Verdin of San Angelo, TX and many other aunts, uncles, cousins as well as Pumpkin, his adorable cat.
By request of the family cremation has taken place. Please join his family and friends Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2 PM at Legion Park in Raton, NM for a Celebration of Life ceremony. All friends and family are welcome to join in remembrance and celebration of the beautiful life that Jeremy blessed the world with.
