Charlene (Sallee) Sidwell, age 81, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Central Time on Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the Texline Cemetery with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Charlene (Sallee) Sidwell was born on December 12, 1937 in Mills, New Mexico to Marvin Sallee and Nina (Horn) Sallee. Charlene married Donald Sidwell on November 25, 1956 in Clayton, New Mexico. They lived in Amarillo for several years and then moved to Texline. Together they owned and operated K. M. Convenience Store in Texline for many years. Charlene was a loving wife, mother and grandma. She was always joyful and always had a smile for everyone and she was a great prayer warrior. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Gene Sallee and Donald Sallee, 3 sisters-in-law; Donita Sallee, Shirley Sallee and Billie Sallee and a brother-in-law; Sammy Hightower.

HUSBAND: Donald Sidwell of Texline, Texas.
3 DAUGHTERS: Margo Sidwell of Montoya, New Mexico, Kim Monk and her husband Dan of Amarillo, Texas and Cory Davidson and her husband Todd of Eulysses, Kansas.
1 SON: Tony Sidwell of Texline, Texas.
6 GRANDCHILDREN: Michael Monk, Ryan Davidson, Kayla Monk Schumacher, Brittney Davidson, Kami Monk Garza and Alison Davidson.
13 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN
1 SISTER: Marlene Hightower of Levelland, Texas.
1 BROTHER: David Sallee and his wife Lois of Auckland, New Zealand.
And several nieces, nephews and cousins.
