Thomas Roybal, of Raton, New Mexico passed away on January 19, 2019 at the age of 70. Thomas was born on November 11, 1948 to Paulino and Viola Roybal.
Thomas was a retired Raton Fire Fighter where he was Fire Chief. He also worked for many years at the Colfax County Workshop. He liked to fish and work with leather and wood. He was always working on his home and yard.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Paulino and Viola Roybal, his wife Marylee Roybal and daughter Francesca Roybal.
Surviving Thomas is his Daughter Jessica Roybal, Sisters; Beatrice Sanchez and husband Eugene, Patricia Sanchez, and Katherine Roybal all of Raton NM. Brothers; Pedro Roybal and wife Beth and Ernest Roybal all of Raton, NM. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patricks/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, recited by Deacon Thomas Alderette. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton NM with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Internment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
