Bert Lloyd Goodfallow age 78 of Raton passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 in Raton. He was born November 10, 1940 I Baltimore, MD the son of Percy A. and Luray Hiles-Goodfallow. Bert was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Unites States Marine Corp as Master Sergeant until his retirement with 20 years of service. After he retired from the Marine Corps he worked and retired from the Bell Helicopter Company. He was a member of the Golden Eagles, life long member of the NRA where for 10 years was a firearms instructor for the NRA Adventure Camp, a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Marine Corp Leauge. Bert Organized and started the Young Marines in Raton. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by he parents. Bert is survived by his wife Susan of the home, three sons, Thomas B. Goodfallow and wife Dawn of Watauga, TX, Steven L. Goodfallow of Raton and Michael D. Goodfallow and wife Kim of Germany. Two sisters Jeanette Fattizzo of Ontario, Canada and DeAnna Mulvihill of Leesburg, VA. Four grandchildren, Heather, Joshua, Sofia and Emma Goodfallow.
Memorial services will be Friday January 18, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Raton with Pastor Nathan Ramirez officiating.
Services and a celebration of love for Bert L. Goodfallow are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
