Helen Aguilar Coyer age 88 went home to be with Our Lord on September 15, 2018. She passed away peacefully. She was born on August 10, 1930 to Albert & Sophia (Maestas) Aguilar. She was a member of St. Patrick/St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was proceeded in death by her son Craig Coyer, parents Albert & Sophia Aguilar. Her brother’s David Aguilar & Albert (Sony) Aguilar, sister Gladys Rivali and brother in law Eddie Trujillo. She is survived by her sister Charlene Trujillo, brother Danny Aguilar & sister in law Kay Aguilar. Also survived by nephews Aldo & wife Yve Rivali, Jeff & wife Jenn Aguilar, David Aguilar, Andrew, Craig & David Trujillo, nieces Karlene Velasquez & Maria Aguilar. Along with 6 great nephews, 7 great nieces with 7 great great nephews & 1 great great niece.
She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting and traveling. She volunteered for Senior Companions and enjoyed doing it.
Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. recited by Deacon Tom Alderette. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton NM with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Inurnment will follow at Fairmont Cemetery.
