Cassandra (Cassie) Lynn Bernadine Martinez was born on July 3, 1985 to Cecelia Montoya and Samuel D. Martinez. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Ernest and Mary Martinez and maternal Grandfather Crescencio Archuleta. She is survived by her maternal grandmother Mary Lou Archuleta, her 3 loving sisters, Celina Apodaca (husband Jimmy Apodaca) of Springer, NM, Christian Martinez of Raton, NM and Connie Martinez (boyfriend Matt Trujillo) of Rio Rancho, NM., Step-Father John Montoya, Step-Sisters Amanda Alderette (husband Michael Alderette) of Raton, NM, Erika Montoya of Raton, NM and Step -brother Matt Montoya. Nieces Audriana Apodaca, Jaycee Apodaca, and Nephew JJ Apodaca. Also, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom she loved very much.
Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 10:00 am recited by Deacon Thomas Alderette. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton NM with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Internment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
