Rebecca Cheyenne Cooley, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2018. She was 12.
She was born on September 30, 2005 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
In 2006, the family moved to Trinidad where she attended area schools including Primero, Fisher’s Peak, Trinidad Middle School and this coming school year would have been a 7th grader at AIM Goal.
Her dream was to become a Canine Officer with the Trinidad Police Department.
She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was active in Kinspire Dance, was a Trinidad Youth club Cheerleader, participated in playing volleyball, soccer and was a member of the All Star Soccer League, traveling to Kansas three years in a row to play in the state playoffs.
She liked playing softball and football and ride ATVs with her brother.
Rebecca also loved nature and the outdoors. She liked to hunt and fish.
Rebecca also enjoyed using her IPhone and playing video games.
She loved caring for her dog Delgado.
Her loving hugs and ever present smile will be missed by all those who were blessed to have had her in their lives.
Preceding her in death are cousins, Crystal Avis, Christopher Logan Champion, uncle Heath Green and aunt Dinky.
Left to cherish her memory is mother Jennifer R. Cooley, brother Jordan G. Cooley, grandparents, Mary and Roy Cooley, Billie and James Walker, aunts and uncles Mike (Gloria) Cooley, Barbie (Steve) Blasi, JoAnn Cooley, Ron Cooley, numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3PM-7PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10AM at Faith Christian Church with Pastor Bill Frashuer officiating.
Entombment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemtery.
Honorary pallbearers are Dave Rivera, Steve Blasi, Doug Belcher, Rico Garcia, Dave Gulley, Paul Avis, Tim Valdez and Randy Bevsek.
Active pallbearers are Jeff Van Matre, Ralph Trujillo, Randy Foster, Justin Robinson, Adolfo Lujan and Rich Ponce.
