Maria Beatrice Chavez, of Weston, passed away at home on July 4, 2018 at the tender age of 100.
She was born in June 7, 1919 to Charlotte(Trujillo) and Lee DeHerrera.
In 1940, Maria was united in marriage to George Chavez.
Together they owned and operated the Alamo Station for 50 years .
She liked to crochet, make blankets and loved to cook.
Preceding her in death are parents, Charlotte and Lee DeHerrera, husband George Chavez, son, Phil Chavez and son in law, Daniel Renner.
Survivors are her children, Donald Chavez, home address, Lorraine Renner, Trinidad, Elaine (Emily) Helm, Segundo, Jack (Emily) Chavez, North Fork, CO, grandchildren, Alicia (Jason) Santistevan,Jorden (April) Renner, Nathan Renner (Leanna Rae Dunn), Danylle Renner, Felicia Armstrong, Andrea (David) Valero, great grandchildren, Espen and Mia Valero, Isabella Arriaga, Leo Renner, sisters Patricia Chavez, Becky (Bill) Colvard, sister in law Irene Chacon, ,numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
As per request of family there will be no visitation.
Funeral Services are Monday, July 9, 2018 with Rosary at 9AM at the Comi Chapel, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.,
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery,
Active pallbearers are Lina Helm, Jorden Renner, Nathan Renner, David Valero, Pete Cordova and Jason Santistevan.
