George was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam war and was stationed in Germany. He also retired as a Coal Miner, finishing his last few years in Berry Alabama at North River Mine, where he met many new friends. George was known for his humor and quick wit, and it wouldn’t take long for him to make new friends. George was not hard to get along with but also would not hesitate to tell the truth when needed.
In his pastime he enjoyed spending time at the Lake or going to the Casino to get away and hang out with his brother Louie when he was still alive. He accomplished many things in his life from owning and operating businesses to military life and traveling around the world, however he enjoyed the simple life also like sitting in his chair at home and watching re-runs of MASH and playing poker/cards online or sitting on the front porch of his home relaxing, listening to Spanish music, and talking to the neighbors that walked by.
He will be missed by many.
At Georges request no services will be held.
