In Loving Memory of Buchard “Butch” Murrice Mitchell

Buchard “Butch” Murrice Mitchell passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2018 at the age of 39.

He was born in Walsenburg, CO on December 22, 1978 to Sheila Mitchell.

He went to Aguilar schools and graduated from Aguilar High School in 1997.

Butch worked in construction all his life starting very early in his teens years. He was a very hard worker. He worked for several different local construction companies over the years. He was very knowledgeable in this line of work.

Butch was a very fun loving person, always laughing and having a good time. He was well known for drinking a beer and making silly jokes. He would help anyone who was in need. He was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed being in the mountains and spending time with Savanna, family and friends.

Proceeding him in death are grandparents Dan and Evelyn Gonzales. Uncle Robert Gonzales cousin Vanessa Gonzales.

Left to cherish his memory is daughter Savanna Jo Mitchell (Junior) , Mother Sheila (Glen) Smith of Okalahoma. Cousin Deana Pantazes ( Lawrence Vigil), Cindy Pantazes (Bob Barker) and Thea (Brandon) Mangino Aunt Darlene Pantazes (Joe Marquez) aunt Ardith Gonzales and family, uncles Tom Pantazes and Abe (Mary) Gonzales.
Brothers Daniel Demeo, Joe and Jesse Ninahualpa, Daniel McGillarid, sister Kayla Chambers, Mother of his child Amy Jo Hedges. Cousin Niko ( Maria) Burton special friend Jose Ninahualpa brothers Troy Vigil and AJ Sanchez. Special Family friends Paul, Greg Steve and Val Montoya, Mr and Mrs Baker, Tammy Wooster. Many other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday May 18, 2018 at 1PM at Comi Chapel in Trinidad CO followed by Services in Aguilar CO at 4PM at the Aguilar Community Center
In lieu of flowers family is asking for donations for his daughter Savanna. Please make donation to Amy Hedges.
