Let me go so I can move into the afterglow. You mustn’t tie me down with your tears. Let’s be happy that we had so many years together. I gave you my love and you can only guess how much happiness you gave me.I thank you for all the love each have shown, but now it’s time to travel on alone. So grieve for a while, if you must grieve then let your grief be comforted with trust. It will only be for a while that we must be apart, so bless the memories within your heart. Then when you must come this way alone, I’ll greet you with a smile and a Welcome Home. To my children, remember the many times when we lived in town on cold winter nights. We would play Bingo and the prizes would be candy wrapped in saran wrap. Also, remember the Sunday night tradition of Hamburgers and cokes, the only time you were ever given pop. Jokingly many times someone would say, “We could go to McDonald’s down at Sabinoso.
