In Loving Memory of Jennie Mascarenas

Jennie Mascarenas, 93, a longtime resident of Cleveland, NM, passed away on April 23, 2018, following a lengthy illness. Jennie was born in Dawson, NM on May 9, 1924 to Modesto Fabbro and Virginia Nardini Fabbro. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law and friend. She enjoyed being a grandmother, fishing, cooking and camping. She was a lifelong catholic. Jennie is preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Mascarenas and her son Dennis L. Mascarenas. Jennie is survived by her children, daughter JoAnn M. Sumerix and husband James, Son John J. Mascarenas, daughter-in-law Ruth Mascarenas, Grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous, nephews, nieces and other relatives. Services for Jennie will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the San Antonio Mission Church in Cleveland, NM with a rosary starting at 9:00 a.m. and funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Dolter, S.O.L.T. as celebrant. Internment will follow at the San Antonio Catholic Cemetery in Cleveland, NM. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Summerix, James Keller, Jose Reyes, Alfonso Valdez, Jason Green and George Sandoval.
