Shirley Ann Kancilia, age 75, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 22, 2018.
She was born in Decatur, Indiana, the daughter of Vera (Krummen) and Ocel Campbell.
She was employed as the Huerfano County Treasurer for many years until her retirement.
Shirley enjoyed her trips to Cripple Creek and living in her country home.
She also liked caring for her animals.
Her family was very important to her and she loved spending time with them.
Preceding her in death are her parents , Vera and Ocel Campbell, brother Kent Campbell and first husband Joe Zubal.
She is survived by husband Joe Kancilia, Gulnare, CO, son Paul (Diane) Zubal Aguilar, CO, daughter Pam (Darwin) Smallwood, Frisco, TX, 5 grandchildren brother Bob (Mary) Campbell, Winslow, AZ,, several sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2PM-6PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral will be Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10AM at the Comi Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are John “Louie” Campbell and Kirk Kancilia.
Active pallbearers are Brad Smallwood, Darwin Smallwood Jr., Kent “Hort” Campbell, Milan Rapo, Tracy Atkins and John Pino.
