David J. Martinez, affectionately known as “Lil G”, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2018 in Walsenburg, CO.
He was born in Trinidad, Colorado on October 11, 1979.
A loving. Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Godfather, David freely gave his heart and time to all and anyone in need.
The loves of his life were his children.
David liked to work and restore cars.
Preceding him in death is mother Ruby Ortiz, cousin Brian Shaw, and grandmother Carmen Lopez.
Survivors are sons, A.J. LeDoux, Santino Martinez, Cruzito Martinez, David Martinez, one granddaughter, father David J. Ortiz, brothers, , Adam Martinez, Thomas Ortiz (Michelle) biological father Charles Martinez, grandfather Joe Lopez, niece, nephews, numerous aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held Monday January 29, 2018 at 10AM at the Comi Chapel.
Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
