Genaro “Mick” Trevino Jr., age 55. passed away January 5, 2018, peacefully at home, after a lengthy illness.
He was born October 7, 1962, in Leveland, TX,, to Genaro Sr. and Maria Trevino.
On July 19, 1997, he was united in marriage to Monica Gonzales.
Mick worked for many years in construction and as a laborer.
He was very strong and a hard worker and took pride in everything he did.
Preceding him in death are his parents Genaro Sr. and Maria Trevino, siblings Ezekial Trevino, Maria Trevino, Susie Trevino, mothers in law, Margaret Ulibarri, Eleanor Archuleta, fathers in law, Ralph Archuleta and Leanardo Ulibarri Sr.
Survivors are his wife Monica, sons Nico and Noah, daughters, Celeste, Heather and Christine, nephew, who he loved as his own son, Christopher, sisters Fidencia Perez of Jonesboro, AK, Janie Trevino, Tacoma, WA, Alice Trevino, Spokane, WA, Rachel (Joben) Nuesse, Chattaroy, WA, brothers Joe (Mar) Trevino, Moxee, WA, Lupe (Maria) Trevino, Yakima WA, Daniel (Mireya) Yakima WA, brothers in law, Leandro Ulibarri Jr., Denver, J.D. (Vivienne) Gonzales, Trinidad, sisters in law, Renee (Dave) Bueno, Melissa Alanis (Phillip), Jennifer (Robert) Meja, Vera Gonzales (Anthony), Tammie (Ronnie) Lopez and Lori Archuleta all of Trinidad, Goddaughter Brianna Garcia, numerous nieces, nephews, who all loved him very much, Rose Gonzales, who he loved as a mother in law, his amazing caregiver Natoshia Wiederman, his amazing church family from First Christian Church and his many special friends.
Mick will be greatly missed by many.
He was an amazing man who always had a smile on his face.
Special thanks to Dr. Borsa and her hospice team for making his last days amazingly memorable. Thank you. We could never thank you enough. You will be in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be Wed. from 3PM-7PM at the Comi Chapel.
Rosary will be Wed. January 10, 2018, at 7PM at the Comi Chapel
Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10AM at First Christian Church.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Brianna Garcia, Ashley Tamburelli, Ashley Gonzales, Cheyenne Mejia, Rafael Tarango, Christopher Borrego and Dan Ruscetti.
Active pallbearers are Robert Meja Sr., Tom Berry, Robert Meja Jr., Rich Gallegos, Leo Trujillo, Jarrod Salazar and Camillo Tarango.
