The MCMC Board of Trustees recently selected Mr. Bo Beames to remain as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Miners Colfax Medical Center. Beames had been serving as interim CEO since June 19, and was named permanent director at the Board’s October 20th meeting.
Beames has almost three decades of industry experience, having most recently served as Interim Administrator for Roosevelt General Hospital in Portales. Beames resume also includes stints as Vice-President of Regional Operations for Presbyterian Healthcare Services, administrator at Plains Regional Medical Center, Socorro General and the Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital.
A native of Hobbs, NM, he is a graduate of UNM and holds a Master’s of Science degree from the University of North Texas and an Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
According to a press release from the MCMC Board, they are looking forward to building on past achievements and facilitating higher performance measures in Quality, Patient Experience, Workforce Development, Financial Health and Operations Excellence.
