Barbara Jo (Bobby Jo) Tieetjen Randles, 71, went to heaven on October 26th, 2017 at her home in Springer, New Mexico after a tough battle with cancer.
Bobby Jo was born on November 6, 1945 to Wesley and Melva Tietjen in Bluewater, New Mexico. She owned her own business, Randles Bookkeeping and Tax Service, through which she gained many friendships. Her love was her grandkids, helping people and quilting. She loved music and encouraged her kids and grandkids to take up music and loved to hear her son and grandsons play. Bobby Jo was known for her witty personality, giving heart and never ending strength.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Melva Tietjen, and three sisters, Lavern Carver, Louis Alexander and Jennie Lou Tietjen.
She is survived by her husband, Monte Randles; son, Wesley Randles and his wife Leslie of Moscow, KS; daughter, Lawana Whitten and her husband Butch of Cimarron, NM; daughter, Daelena Potter and her husband Robert of Cimarron, NM; eight precious grandkids, Clay and Frauka Randles, Brandi Whitten, Bubba Whitten, Cayden Potter, Rylen Potter and Tyen Potter; brother, Ted Tietjen of Jarales, NM and brother, Ned Tietjen and his wife Janet of Capitan, NM; numerous nephews and nieces of whom she dearly loved.
Services will be Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Harkness officiating. Burial will be in the Springer Cemetery in Springer, NM.
