Mary “Louise” Gonzales went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2017 after a year-long battle with Cancer.
She was born on August 24, 1949 in Raton, NM, the daughter of the late Epifañio and Mabel Martinez. She was the youngest of 5 siblings.
Louise’s favorite times in her life were spent water skiing, doing arts and crafts, walking her dogs, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Sister Frances, Brother Richard “Lefty” and Special Nephew Joey.
She is survived by her Son, Bernie (Kim) Gonzales; Daughter, Bernadette (Ian) Gonzales Watermeier; Grandchildren, Brodie and Kendall Gonzales; Brother, Joseph Martinez, Sister, Thelma (Gene) Lujan. Special Sisters, Yolanda Martinez and MaryAnne Martinez. Many amazing and wonderful Nieces, Nephews , Great Nieces, Great Nephews , her “Neighbor Neighbors” Lydia and Danny Shea and her puppy Zeba, also survive.
A service will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00pm at Comi Funeral Home Chapel in Trinidad, CO.
