Gwen R. Martinez-Breedlove, beloved Daughter, Sister, Auntie and Little Nina, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ. She was 54.
She was born in Pueblo, Colorado on July 11, 1963, ,the daughter of Elsie M. (Santistevan) and Rudy V. Martinez.
She attended Pueblo schools graduating from Pueblo Central High School in 1982.
Gwen then attended Trinidad State Junior College for 2 years.
She was employed for Fry’s and Wal Mart for several years in Phoenix, AZ, where she resided until her passing.
She enjoyed, fishing friends and family. Gwen was an avid Denver Bronco fan.
Gwen was small but mighty. She was full of life and love. Gwen was very special to all that knew her, especially her family. She touched many with her infectious personality. Gwen was that special spark in our family and she will be deeply missed
.Preceding in death is her grandfather Marcus Bigornia, and grandmother Josephine Romero.
She is survived by parents, Elsie and Rudy Martinez of Pueblo, CO, siblings, Robert Gomez, Omaha Nebraska, Loretta (Joe) Garcia, Pueblo, CO, Valerie Butler, Pueblo, CO,
Gerri Martinez (Dennis Montano) Pueblo, CO, and Brenda (John) Rodriguez, Pueblo West, CO, nieces, nephews , Jason, Brandon, Brandi, Briana, Jacob, Jenna, , fiancé Craig Van Kessel, Phoneix, AZ, other relatives and many friends.
