Mary T. Barrera age 78, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2017 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO.
She was born in Olathe, Colorado on April 9, 1939 to Anita (Romero) and Leo Trujillo.
Mary enjoyed gambling and playing the slot machines.
The greatest joy in her life was spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be missed by all her were fortunate to have had her in their lives.
Preceding her in death are parents Anita and Leo Trujillo, beloved husband of 42 years Jose Eugene Barrera, sister Betty Sims and brother Dan Trujillo.,
Survivors are her daughter Theresa Barrera, TX, grandchildren, Joseph Rivas, Mandy Rivas, Brian Barrera and Brandy (Ammar) Abdalla.
Also surviving are great grandchildren, Aaden Rivas, Braden Williams, Jordan Rivas, Caius Abdalla, Kian Abdalla and soon to arrive great granddaughter Phaye Abdalla, siblings, Pete (Sharon), Tom, David (JoAnn), Kathy, Frances (Kirk), brothers and sisters in law, Ben (JoAnn) Barrera, Pueblo, Rose (Leroy) Baca, Trinidad, numerous nieces nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday from Noon-4PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Monday, August 28, 2017 at 10AM at Comi Chapel.
Interment with Rite of Committal will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Brian Barrera, Joseph Rivas, Jeremy Barron, Carlos Barrera, Richard Barrera and Mandy Rivas.
