Aeriel Valdez, age 31, passed away on July 10, 2017.
She was born in Trinidad, Colorado on December 17, 1985 to Kathee M.Gutierrez and Steve V. Valdez.
She attended area school graduating from Trinidad High School in 2004.
She then attended TSJC receiving her AA degree in Cosmetology in 2008.
She loved styling hair and doing nails.
Aeriel was an avid reader and she had a thirst for learning. She liked researching the internet for information.
She loved her daughters more than anything in the world. She always liked being with all her family, her children, sisters and brother.
Aeriel `was a free spirit. She loved all people especially the elderly.
Her kindness and gentleness will be missed all who were fortunate to have had her in their lives.
Preceding her in death is husband Jesse Kiefer, grandfathers Eddie Gutierrez, Nash Valdez, grandmother Lucy Torres, cousins Theron Valdez and Jeannie Gonzales.
Left to cherish her memory are parents Kathee Gutierrez-Adams, Steve (Tammy) Valdez, daughters Madison and Jessie, siblings, Chessiemay Gutierrez-Adams, Carli Valdez, Steven Valdez, grandparents, Evelyn Valdez (Ray Lopez) , Isabelle Gutierrez, mother and father in law, Virginia and Rich Baca numerous aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 21, 2017, at 1PM at Holy Trinity Church.
Private family inurnment at a later date.
