Virginia Chase Kaiser, age 90, previously from Raton, NM, passed away on May 7, 2017 at her home in Melrose, NM. She left this earth peacefully surrounded by her son, Bob, and his wife, Judy.
Ginny was born October 23, 1926 in Winter Haven, Florida, the daughter of David and Mildred Chase. Virginia moved to New Hyde Park, NY, in 1929 at the age of 2.
She married Robert Martin Kaiser on July 3, 1947. In 1977, Ginny and Bob moved from NY to Raton, NM.
Ginny was an active member in the St. Elizabeth’s Guild, Raton Garden Cub, and Holy Trinity Auxiliary.
She so enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. Ginny and Bob moved from Raton to Clovis, NM, in 2012. After losing her husband, Mr. K, Virginia moved to Melrose, NM to live with her son.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters-in-law and her beloved husband, Robert M. Kaiser.
She is survived by her three children: Robert D. Kaiser and wife Judy, Susan Wortman and husband Tom, and Millie Randolph and husband Ram. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Service will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 9:45 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
