Joshua Alfonso Esquivel, age 25 of Raton, New Mexico, passed away on April 25, 2017. He was born on November 15, 1991 in Raton, New Mexico to Ana Ortiz and Nash Esquivel, Jr.
Joshua was kind, caring, funny, and helpful. He would offer whatever he could to those around him, whether they were strangers or family. Joshua was known best by those who loved him as eager to please. At the same time, Joshua loved to laugh and tease the people he cared about.
Joshua is preceded in death by his grandparents Max & Rosie Ortiz, great grandmother Cora Romero and great grandfather Leo Esquivel.
Joshua is survived by his mother and stepfather Ana & Danny Segura, father and stepmother Nash & Stephanie Esquivel, sister Shantell Jacobo husband Adrian and nephew Mateo, grandparents Matilde & Cora Colomo, grandparents Nash & Debbie Esquivel, great grandfather Lorenzo Salazar, great grandmother Jenny Esquivel and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday May 2, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 10:00am at the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home. Burial to follow at the Fairmont Cemetery.
