Raton hosted Pecos for an early season district game Tuesday afternoon and marked the win column in a five inning game.

Raton started the game out with a six run rally with a big hit by the first batter Jonathan Cabriales. Raton soon loaded the bases and added a run on a walk. By the end of the inning Raton had run the batting order plus three.

Pecos only score in the game came in the second inning when a throw to second to catch a steal allowed the runner at third to head home and beat the throw home. Raton added one in the second too while both teams went cold in the third. Raton then had a four run rally with a bases loaded walk for one run and a couple of hits for the other three runs.
