Rudy Valerio was blessed to go to the Lord on March 6, 2017. He was 62 years old.
Rudy was born on April 15, 1954 in Nazas, Durango, Mexico.
Rudy loved life. enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working at the Soup Kitchen until July 2016. He loved to sell produce, to knit and sew and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his special tamales and stacked enchiladas, but most of all, he will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of dancing, and his love for his family and friends. He will be truly missed.
Rudy was preceded in death by his mother Antonia Valerio Dominguez, his father Eulalio Lopez, Robert Lobato, Luis A. Lopez and Danessa Garduno.
He is survived by Trey Lobato, Sam Lobato, Terrie Lobato, his family in Mexico being his daughter Claudia Valerio, grandchildren, Joel and Manuel Valerio, sisters Lourdes Valerio, Violeta de Jesus Valerio Lopez, Delia Valerio Lopez. Dora Valerio Lopez, Monica Valerio Lopez, Chuya Valerio Lopez and brother Carlos Valerio Lopez, uncles Jesus Valerio Domingues, Andres Valerio Domingues, aunts Marta Valerio Domingues, Consuelo Valerio Dominguez, Eva Jemina Valerio Domingues niece Ana Luisa Velasquez and Rigoberto Velasquez.
Also surviving are friends Sam and Betty Garcia, Joan Sisneros and family, Lisa Garcia and family, Sandy Villegos and family, Susie Lopez, Leticia and Leonard Higdon and family , Luis A. Lopez III, wife Kelly Lopez and family, Carmi and John Jones and family, Carlos R. Lopez and Kristine Munson, Bobby and Priscilla Garduno and family, Jorge and Letty Luna and family and special auntie, Ramona McQueary.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 with Rosary a 9AM the Comi Chapel followed by the Funeral Mass at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.
Private inurnment at a later date.
