Valorie Ann Woods, affectionately known by many as Ms. Val, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 23, 2017. She was 58.
She was born in Trinidad, CO on August 31, 1958 , the first child of eight children to Martha and Jim Felthager.
She was currently employed for Alta Vista Alternative Care.
Valorie was a kind, caring and loving person and her door was always opened to everyone.
Survivors are her three children, Jolene (Aaron) Brown, Bob Woods, Payton Gilstrap, three grandchildren, Aaron and Jenna Brown, Akiaca Gilstrap. brothers Jim (Bonnie) Felthager, Kenny (Shanna) Felthager, Joe Felthager, sisters, Cindy Martinez, Diana (Abel) Castellano, Carol Felthager, Brenda (Joseph) Felthager, 18 nieces and nephews, 17 great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1PM at the La Casa. All are welcome to attend to remember Ms. Val.
At her request, cremation with private family services.
